I loved the Space Shuttle. I remember it’s first launch back in 1981. The other kids and I at school, not knowing how things really worked were desperately hoping that one of the booster rockets would land in our school playground. The Shuttle was one of the first actual things that I learnt how to draw, and to this day I love the shape and lines of it. It’s such a great object. Kind of sad that it’s no longer in service, but I expect the next step will be even better.
